Start and Stop Cards
Accurate records are essential to participants when they apply to receive the benefits they have earned. The records maintained at NEBF are based on the information that is reported to the Fund office from NEBF's Covered Employers.
For this reason, NEBF needs to know which Covered Employers are active in each Local Union area. Failure to file monthly payroll reports and submit contributions constitutes a delinquency for Covered Employers.
The Start and Stop cards make it easy for the Local Unions to let the NECA and NEBF offices know of any changes in the working status of employers, and therefore, help NEBF to maintain accurate records for participants.
These cards can be downloaded (in a PDF file), completed, and mailed to your local NECA Chapter’s office. Telephone and fax numbers, as well as website addresses, for the NECA offices can be found under NECA Chapters > Local Collection Agent Listing.
